About the Las Vegas Convention Center

The Las Vegas Convention Center, abbreviated LVCC, is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Located at 3150 Paradise Road, it is the largest single-level convention center in the world, with over 2.5 million square feet of contiguous exhibit area divided among four halls: South, Central, North, and West.. The facility also boasts considerable outdoor exhibit space for heavy industries shows, like World of Concrete and CONEXPO-CON/AGG, and large-scale events, like CES (the Consumer Electronics Show).

Crafted in the 1950s, the facility originally hosted sporting events, including boxing and basketball, and concerts. By the 1980s, the LVCC had hosted several thousand conventions. The center has undergone several expansions, most recently in 2019, to better accommodate an increasing number of exhibitors and attendees.

Traveling to the Las Vegas Convention Center

Located just one block east of the Las Vegas Strip, the LVCC is conveniently close to all the city’s infamous action!

Travelers can fly into the Las Vegas Airport (LAS), also known as Harry Reid International Airport, which is just over 3 miles from the convention center.

The Las Vegas monorail stops at the LVCC as well as many other key points and attractions throughout the city. As in most major metropolitan areas, taxis, buses, Ubers, Lyfts, and other ride-share services are also available.

Inside the facility, the innovative LVCC Loop offers quick and convenient transportation underground in all-electric vehicles.
