First Annual ExSys Awards

Exhibit City News hosted the Experiential Design Authority’s first-annual ExSys Awards at Moss headquarters in Chicago, celebrating outstanding achievements in system-based exhibit design and execution. The inaugural competition received over 130 submissions from exhibit designers, producers, and manufacturers across the United States, Europe, and Australia.

 

Recognizing Condit for Exhibit Design Expertise

The Condit team was proud to take home seven total exhibit design awards: Agency of the Year, two gold awards, three silver awards, and one honorable mention.

 

Agency of the Year

This top accolade recognized exceptional creativity, innovation, and leadership in system-based exhibit design, highlighting the agency’s impact on elevating tradeshow and event industry standards and delivering outstanding results across multiple projects. In addition to receiving the most dedicated awards above of any participant in the program, Condit also had the largest cumulative point total and were judging panel favorites across the board.

 

Gold Award – Best Small In-Line Exhibit, Octonuts

Octonuts’ Winter Fancy Foods 10×20-foot exhibit took home the Gold Award for Best Small In-Line Exhibit, recognized for its vibrant design and clean, refined aesthetic. The custom exhibit included modular layouts, built-in lightbox shelving, and versatile product interaction zones. “There are so many great things going on in this exhibit,” said one ExSys Awards judge. Another praised the booth’s adaptable design, noting how it allowed for effortless scaling without losing its polished, on-brand presentation of Octonuts’ offerings.

 

Gold Award – Best Small Rental Exhibit, Nature’s Bakery

Nature’s Bakery at Natural Products Expo West received the Best Small Rental Exhibit award for its imaginative 20-by-20-foot bakery-themed booth, which judges described as “clever and whimsical.” Designed and built by Condit Exhibits using the Aluvision system, the exhibit showcased smart problem-solving, concealing a venue column while preserving access, integrating varied materials for a cohesive monochrome effect, and customizing rental furniture to match the brand’s colors. The result was a visually harmonious space for food and beverage tradeshows that effectively highlighted the company’s products without sacrificing functionality or design integrity.
