New client, ABeam Consulting, engaged with Condit to create a custom tradeshow booth solution for the SAPPHIRE NOW (SAP) show in Orlando, FL. ABeam’s core company values are teamwork and partnership, both congruencies of their sailing brand theme. Condit was tasked with bringing this brand theme and values to life in three dimensions. Matt Wolf, lead designer for the project, took cues from the nautical motif to direct his design intention.
Goals
ABeam’s Director, Donna Lafreniere, describes the objectives of the conference were “to make one-on-one contact with potential customers, demonstrate services and offerings across many of the trending areas, and support current customer base with new solution offerings.”
As for reaching new customers, Donna attributes the booth design to attracting newcomers–“The booth was amazing and very much a differentiator for us. People wanted to come to our booth and spent time in there with us. The design was so original, there was nothing remotely close at the show.”
The central architectural element of the booth was a custom designed and fabricated sail structure. Curved, laminated pillars supported the massive, branded fabric sail while demo stations and counters ran parallel to the arc. A bright and inviting ocean blue color complemented the sailing theme, and an open concept allowed the flow to feel coordinated yet effortless.
Although the booth had an involved design, Donna notes, “The set up went smoothly. Break down was even easier. I handed over the keys and left. Who could ask for more!”
Result
Abeam met all of their show objectives, and Donna attributes much of that success to the booth design: “The booth was perfect. The layout was open and inviting. The demo stations allowed for segregated discussions, and the meeting area was used a lot to hold planning sessions with existing clients.”
Value
Value is measured by our clients’ exhibiting results. We are thrilled each time a client like Donna shares positive feedback about their experience: “I am so pleased with Condit and the work they have done. It’s really amazing how much a difference the booth made for us this year. Condit was great to work with. Helpful, easy, and resourceful–No never felt like a no, it was always lets see what we can do.“
