Supporting A First-Time Tradeshow Floor Experience
Energous, a global leader in Wireless Power Networks, partnered with Condit Exhibits to create their first floor exhibit at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is more of the country’s premier technology tradeshows that not only highlights technology-oriented products and services but gives brands a chance to show off unique technology integration tools within their exhibits.
Goal
No stranger to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Energous has previously participated as a Venetian Suites Exhibitor as well as through demo suites at the Hard Rock Hotel. This strategy focused on appointment-based touchpoints with current partners, potential customers, investors, and others.
In 2022, Condit collaborated with the Energous team and Vice President of Marketing Gordon Bell to launch their first primary tradeshow floor presence at CES 2022. The primary aesthetic goal for the space was a visually impactful design that supported the intended technology demonstrations while allowing for booth traffic flow. Functionally, the ability to support multiple demonstrations of distance-based wireless charging (needing 10-15 feet of open area) as well as other, separate demos and a private meeting room was paramount.
Result
Energous reported tremendous satisfaction with their CES exhibit and its show-site performance, saying, “We loved every part of the booth. It was perfect down to the last detail, and even small things that people might not comment on or realize were so seamless.” Bell extolled the solid and secure design, noting that the marketing vision was accomplished.

Senior Condit Designer Keita Usuda said, “Aesthetically, we incorporated a pattern design from Energous’ recent rebranding and used it to create some visual transparency to an otherwise mostly enclosed space. Implementing CNC-cut Sintra and vinyl on two layers of plexiglass panels created an illusion of depth and thickness. The result was an efficient and highly functional space with a very strong brand presence that still felt spacious, warm, and inviting with enough open area to execute their functional requirements while still providing privacy for their proprietary technology.”
Bell continued, “Your tradeshow booth is as much a representation of your company as your team, your social media, etc. Having a high-quality design and layout ensures your product demos and other show activities go as planned.
