A vibrant aesthetic, clean graphics, custom product displays, sweeping curves and that massive hanging tomato (!) combined to create an exhibit that took center stage both in show floor location but also in visibility and attention. The NatureSweet 30×50 custom booth at the 2016 United Fresh show in Chicago proved an exuberant showcase of the company’s new brand direction.
Condit’s senior exhibit designer, Kevin Trainor, took cues from NatureSweet’s brand refresh while combining functional items like a demo kitchen and double-deck conference space. But what really made this exhibit special is what Kevin designed in the details. Countertops within the various meeting stations are bolstered by custom-made, twisting legs that mimic tomato vines. Product kiosks were also custom made in-house and created to look like farm stand displays. Sustainable materials like beetle kill pine were utilized throughout, and hidden elements like the faux tile work on the kitchen island showed off our shop’s creative capabilities. CNC-programmed MDF painted panels made to mimic their ceramic counterparts are a lighter, more economical and therefore practical choice for a trade show display.
Most importantly the result of this project made for one exceptionally happy client. NatureSweet loved this fresh, bold take on their new brand direction and their success at the show exceeded goals.
