The University of Colorado Office of the President selected Condit to design and produce a set of educational and interactive traveling exhibits for their inspiring and informational Next Event. CU Boulder Next event brings the university to alumni, benefactors, faculty and prospective students. At each stop, by way of talks and exhibits, hundreds of these affiliates learn about the university’s current research, technology advancements, academic and athletic programs and much more.
The format includes an opening keynote, expert lectures and breakout sessions and an evening reception. Between each session, attendees meander through the exhibits – they’re transported to another world at the virtual reality station, can take a selfie with Ralphie the Buffalo in the sports exhibit, or step under the night sky in the universe exhibit and discover CU’s contributions to the space program.
Condit curated the exhibit scheme with ease and durability in mind. The result is a set of lightweight fabric and aluminum-structured exhibits with custom, hard carrying cases for smooth transport. A dedicated Condit supervisor and team of professional labor combined with CU’s event staff assemble and dismantle each show.
Condit is proud to work with one of Colorado’s most prominent academic institutions to help connect their vast community of influencers, donors and budding scholars.
