High-End Architectural Millwork for the Rally Hotel

Multi-Room Fabrication for MLB All-Star Game Guests

Condit collaborated with Edge Construction Specialties on a high-end architectural millwork project at the Rally Hotel in McGregor Square, an entertainment complex located in downtown Denver.

Both newly constructed in 2020, McGregor Square and the Rally Hotel were expecting a significant influx of guests and foot-traffic in the summer of 2021 as Denver prepared to host the 2021 MLB All-Star Game.

McGregor Square, comprised of three main buildings, is over 650,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor area. Previously a parking lot, it makes use of coveted space in the trendy LoDo neighborhood. The complex includes restaurants, bars, retail stores, office space, and apartments. Therein, the Rally Hotel boasts more than 180 modern rooms and very close proximity to Coors Field.

 

Goal

Edge approached Condit to support their production of architectural millwork at key points throughout the Rally Hotel, such as the front lobby, the Rally Bar, the third-floor conference and meetings rooms, and several hallways.

Condit’s contributions included custom cabinetry, ceiling panels, risers, doors, and window-louver panels. These featured veneer, plastic laminate, metal, hardwoods, acrylics, and various specialty hardware components and finishes.

Result

Partnering with Edge, Condit provided finished shop construction and installation drawings as well as fabrication and finishing for the Rally Hotel.

This project, which started amidst the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, allowed Condit to pivot toward millwork and utilize in-house capabilities in woodwork, metalwork, and millwork. Though tradeshows and event marketing are Condit’s core competencies, their knowledgeable craftsmen, expansive manufacturing floor, and dedication to customer service proved invaluable in completing this work with Edge.

Delivered and installed by Edge with support from Condit in June 2021, the utmost safety and wellness precautions were taken by all team members and staff from the start of the project in early 2020 until its completion.

And with nearly 50,000 AllStar Game attendees in Denver this year, McGregor Square and the Rally Hotel are off to a tremendous start!
