SmartWool, a long time partner with Condit and a leading outdoor performance brand offering Merino wool-based socks, apparel, and accessories, revamped their current custom exhibit with a booth offering a more open design, allowing for increased product gallery space.
SmartWool attended the OutDoor Trade Fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany – a popular trade show drawing over 900 exhibitors and 21,000 visitors from around the world. As a hub for all things sporting and outdoor, the show presented an excellent opportunity for SmartWool to display its upcoming product offerings to clients and press.
The goal of designing and building a new trade show booth was to create a more open feel, provide new retail gallery space, and repurpose existing properties.
While providing a less restrictive and more welcoming presence, the open booth design and retail gallery space provide clients and press an immediate grasp of SmartWool’s new colors, products, and collections. For visitors outside of the exhibit, the booth provides an excellent view of featured apparel, enticing them to enter and experience the simple flow.
SmartWool was intent on upholding its standards of sustainability while creating the new, custom exhibit. Their previous booth, built from the Make It Green series of custom exhibits by Condit, utilized eco-friendly materials, FSC certified wood products, and sustainably manufactured laminates. As an environmentally conscious company, SmartWool desired to reduce what ended up in a landfill from a redesign. They were able to achieve this by re-using existing properties in new and unique ways, eliminating the need to re-create what was already available.
Armed and energized with a new custom design, SmartWool established itself as a leader in the outdoor industry. Condit created a brand-new, exciting booth that engaged visitors while staying environmentally responsible and elevating the SmartWool brand.
