Local client, Wowza Media Systems, recently returned from the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC show) in Amsterdam. We caught up with Wowza’s Chief Revenue Officer, Heidi Jackman, to hear about her experience with Condit’s capabilities abroad.
Like many of our clients, Wowza operates on a global level, therefore making face-to-face marketing with international customers crucial. As a software company, Heidi explains, “gathering feedback firsthand from the European market is invaluable to understanding regional needs and technology trends that help guide both our product development and marketing.”
Wowza worked with our Denver team to create their 5mx7m custom booth design, while Condit’s London personnel fabricated the exhibit and managed show services, installation and dismantle.
Although a critical marketing effort, exhibiting abroad can be tricky. If you’re used to exhibiting in the states, you’ll find the show and labor regulations overseas vary vastly from cities stateside. In Wowza’s case at this year’s IBC show, Heidi explains that their team faced time delays with construction. However, she pointed out that “International trade shows are a big undertaking and it’s nice to know that Condit understands our needs as a company and is there to make things run smoothly.”
In all, Heidi reports, “2014 was our most fruitful IBC show to date. We successfully met our goals of driving new leads, increasing brand awareness and strengthening relationships in Europe with prospects, customers, and partners.”
We look forward to continuing our relationship with Wowza, and making their exhibiting experience as seamless and easy as possible, whether that’s here or overseas.
